Dennis and Rita have assisted Candace with her efforts to help the needy in Manitoba over the last several years. They have contributed in many ways and their contributions have been greatly appreciated. Just one example of how Dennis and Rita have helped Candace was to offer to provide the pancake breakfast for the “A Nite 4 Candace” fundraiser that will be occurring on February 6th. Many trips have been made from their home in LaRiviere to meet with Candace and assist her with her projects.

Special thanks to Gail at the Clarenville Inn for the special treatment that Candace and Ken received while in Clarenville. Not only were they looked after with food and accommodations but were taken to a hockey game where Candace was recognized and given a standing ovation.

On a Friday morning an email was sent to the 6am Runners club asking if they could get members to chip in to buy one pair of runners for Candace. They quickly spread the word to other club members and were able to come up with enough money to buy 2 pairs of runners. Thanks to Radical Edge for giving the 6am Runners club a really good deal on the runners. The email was sent Friday morning and by Friday evening the 2 pairs of runners were ready to be handed over to Candace.
